Wanna be effortlessly cute without compromising your skin poolside?! Same girl same. I may be a wife and a momma, BUT I still like to look and feel my best (with minimal effort lol) Below I am going to share my favorite poolside products, sunless face tanner, AND the nontour technique.

Before we begin, let me just get this out of the way, practicing self care each and every day is truly the gift that keeps on giving! When you take care of your mind and body - it shows. Our skin is a tell-tale sign of what's going on in the inside. My tips, products, and tools will achieve an immediate result, but nothing will make a lasting impression on your mind, body, and skin like your commitment to healthy eating, stress reduction, sufficient sleep, and exercise. Ok-ok mini lecture over!

For my nice healthy glow I’m using Tanologist Self Tanning Water. I use a kabuki brush to apply all over my face. It gives me a nice glow, no breakouts, drying, or flaking with this product. Also less makeup in general, even outside of the pool, since my complexion appears more even.
To protect my face I will be wearing Elta MD SPF 44 Waterproof to the pool, religiously, this summer! I've fallen in love with their other skincare and love that this product has a hint of color. Gives me a nice smooth, glow while protecting my skin. From other reviews and pictures, I do believe this works for ALL skin tones. I am quite fair and will tan slightly during the summer. The Nontour technique is using highlighter to shape the face without using multiple products. Traditional contouring consists of using dark and light colors to shape your face. Highlighting key points in your face using the nontour method will give your face some definition, minimizing the use of time/products/tools. Pop the highlight in the inner corners of eyes, above/below eyebrow arch, bridge of nose, and high points of cheekbones. Blend our gently with ring finger - DONE! I am liking the results from Julep Shadow Stick. It is waterproof as well!
Don't forget your lips! I love Sun Bum and found the Sun Bum Lip Balm comes in multiple shade, is clean, and has sun protection! I'm wearing bonfire.
You really should be doing a lash lift and tint for your lashes, but if you haven't/can't/don't want to, grab some waterproof mascara. I choose Essence Waterproof Lash. It's super affordable. I'd like to add, I would not recommend wearing waterproof mascara on a daily basis. When it's time to remove, use makeup remover or micellar water!
